C²cosplay

Phew, acon is over again and so is our car drive that took us 11 hours.

These are the cosplays we want to show just because they are awesome. Along with this post there will be another one or two coming today of photoshoots or those that we really paid attention to, so if your pictures aren’t here and got an ticket from either me or Ciissi, just wait until I get them up.

If you want your pictures, please send a mail to nanicosplay at gmail dot com OR message us! We are glad to give 3000x4000 pictures of your shoots!

We’ll both give comments on the cosplays and since Ciissi’s not yet home, she can’t give her own opinion. Some of these cosplays are those she knows and some I know only so if other one leaves “lame” comment, please understand that we might not know about other’s cosplay likes at all.

Turn A Gundam - Kihel

Crimson: We saw her when came to Acon on sunday and never got around to ask her whom she is cosplaying. If any of you know, please tell us!

Ciissi: This might be a Touhou character. I do not know. I just loved the colors, it looked good and I wanted the picture. Because of the colors.

One Piece - ???

Crimson: I know nothing about One Piece so I’ll let Ciissi write more about this.

Final Fantasy XIII - Hope Estheim

Crimson: Ogad, BEST IC EVER. Maybe the orange part was made from a bit too light material but otherwise she pulled this cosplay well, especially when it comes to being in-character.

Ciissi:

Alice in Wonderland? - Candy?

Crimson: While I know nothing about this serie, I totally fell in love with the cosplayer, what’s with me being hardcore Candy Candy fan since my childhood.

Ciissi:

Fullmetal Alchemist - Winry Rockbell

Crimson: Absolutely wonderful Winry! While she was awfully tall it suited this cosplay very well.

Ciissi:

Nurarihyon no Mago - Kappa

Crimson: Can you hear that fangirl squeal? That’s me loving seeing Nuramago cosplayers! GOOD ONES!

Ciissi:

Axis Powers Hetalia - France

Crimson: I don’t watch Hetalia. I don’t like Hetalia. I’d rather not even think about Hetalia. But. BUT. Her show was amazing, historically accurate and clothes absolutely fabulous, so I cannot NOT praise her! <3

Ciissi: I do not know anything about Hetalia, but I do know history. So, yeah… I felt bad for the poor France. I watched the show and thought: “France really should not be dressed like that (althought the clothes are fabilous), because very soon he might loose his head.” (Off with his head!) Louis XV, remember him?

The Rose of Versailles - Marie Antoinette

Crimson: Uh, remember what I said about that Candy? Berubara is another one all time favorite of mine. And I have to raise my hat to her clothes. I can see it being hard to make and while there are some things that I’d do differently I just REFUSE to say this is bad cosplay in any way. Whoever you cosplayer are, KEEP UP GREAT WORK! <3

Ciissi: I have not watched Berubara, but I still know what happened to Marie Antoinette. Good cosplay, please continue cosplaying! Do not let Marie Antoinette’s fate depress you.

Final Fantasy X - Lulu

Crimson: I’ve seen a lot great Lulu’s. In belt department this one beats the rest 100-0.

Ciissi: The props were well made. Loved the cactuar and the show.

Final Fantasy II - Princess Hilda

Crimson: MODIAESHFIyherfnahwirehuwahre98jdhjahfFINALFANTASYCLASSICS!!1! *dies*

Ciissi: *pokes the hair-dress and wonders how it is made* Thank you for a classic!

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings - ???

Crimson: The clothes, THE CLOTHES. So much details and I’ve never even played the game and I can already see how it looks in it!

Ciissi: It is never easy to make a DS-game character into a cosplay. I had to go and ask many, many questions about her wig, because it was amazing! And Archangel has long hair and all the tips are welcome.

Dragonball - ???

Crimson: This is pretty bad picture of it but the only one that shows it without any color disturbances. Again, I don’t watch the serie but this was so good I got all *doki doki* over it!

Ciissi: Just wow. I am very displeased with my camera. Do not die when there is an amazing cosplays around!

Final Fantasy VIII - DILF Laguna Loire

… just kidding, here!
Ciissi: My camera fails again. Stupid camera! Take picures of Laguna! TT__TT

Crimson: I think we both, Ciissi and I can say that this was the best cosplay in whole con. His face structure, body, atmosphere, character, EVERYTHING was like he had just jumped out of the game. Absolutely the best cosplay I’ve seen to day.

Ciissi: There is nothing again add. Just simply unbelievable. The show was win all the way! I hope there is a video of it…

Crimson: Okay, okay, okay, I’m awful I know. I know this one but can’t remember and since I’m pretty much jetlagging right now, too lazy to check it out.

I wanted to put up their picture just because thanks to them I got some good ideas in the execution department in cosplays.

Ciissi:

Fruits Basket - Momiji, Tooru and Kyo

Crimson: I hope I got their names right, I haven’t read Fruits Basket. Their show was WONDERFUL and loved every second of it. <3

Ciissi:

Pokemon - Kasumi, Satoshi, Pikachu, Shigeru

Crimson: Their show, OH MY GOD I WAS SQUEEING SO HARD! Too cute! <3 <3 <3

Ciissi:

One Piece - Tony Tony Chopper

Crimson: Can’t give any comment.

Ciissi: *sqeeeeeee* <3<3<3<3 The best Chopper-cosplay I have ever seen! Who ever you are, good job and thank you, thank you! <3<3<3

D.Gray-man - Allen Walker

Crimson: I have read only few volumes so can’t say anything about this cosplay at all. ;-; Other than that cosplayer looks like Nishikawa Takanori. lol

Ciissi: The face looks so much like Allen that I was almost freaked out. Exelent costume and after asking about the fingers, I realized some people are just too good. They are more creative than I am ever. Thank you for chatting with me and answering my questions about the fingers!

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Kamui

Crimson: ASDKLGFSLFKSJF KAMUI. I love the character for his idiotic and hotheaded personality and this cosplayer was so well made and in-character that it hurt. <3 Even had THE EYES! *rolls around in happiness.*

Ciissi: Crimson sure was happy. The only reason why this Kamui is still alive, is Uru’s clothes: If she misses her first glomp, she cannot get up without lots and lots of help.

Tsuritama - Natsuki

Crimson: Well-made cosplay and when added to a face like her/his (sadly can’t remember which one XD) it’s PERFECT.

Ciissi: At least for now a rare cosplay in Finland. Looked good close up and far away.

Final Fantasy X - Tidus & Yuna

Crimson: While both were wonderful, Tidus totally stole the spotlight by being so good at it that it’s scary. Everything from face structure to… to… EVERYTHING.

Ciissi: Took this one in hurry before knowing that there would be a FFX group photoshoot. This is the best Tidus cosplay I have ever seen.

No. 6 // Nezumi

Crimson: Nezumi, where you left Shion? ;___;

Ciissi: Three Nezumis and zero Shions?!?! TT_____TT I never expect to see a Nezumi cosplay becase the anime is rather short. So every cosplay made me happy because I loved the anime (have not yet read the manga).
